Palestinian sources in Gaza reported that the Israel Air Force struck a Hamas compound in the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis.
Eyewitnesses also reported that a market in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun was bombarded as well. (AP)
