UAE raises $85.8M in aid funds for Gaza
The United Arab Emirates, oil-rich Gulf countries, announced Saturday having received $85.8 million in the first days of a campaign to collect aid for the Palestinian victims of the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip.

The President of the Red Crescent emirate, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has called on its citizens and foreign residents to "continue their donations to their brothers in the Palestinian territories" during the campaign. (AFP)
