Mashaal: Israel must act according to UN resolution
Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal said that Israel must act according to UN Resolution 1860 as "the enemy who began the assault is the one who should stop it".
Mashaal added that "the resistance organizations are still at full power – they took a beating during the first two days, but have since taken the initiative." He said Hamas would agree to a ceasefire on four conditions: The Israeli offensive must halt, the IDF must withdraw from Gaza, the blockade must be lifted, and the crossings opened. (Ali Waked)
