Assad: Arab peace initiative dead

Syrian President Bashar Assad said Friday that "The Arab peace initiative is dead… we must respond to Israel on the basis of an eye of an eye."
Speaking at the Arab summit in Qatar, Assad added that "Israel will reap what it sows… what have been taken by force will be retrieved by force." (Ali Waked)
