Attacks continue; rocket lands near Ashdod home

Medics treat several anxiety victims after rocket hits southern city; south under fire throughout Saturday

As Israel prepares to declare a unilateral ceasefire, two rockets were fired at the southern city of Ashdod Saturday night.

One rocket landed in a residential area in the city, damaging some vehicles in the area, including a bus. Magen David Adom medics treated several anxiety victims at the scene.

Earlier Saturday, two rockets exploded in open spaces in the Beersheba area – no injuries or damages were reported in the attack. The rockets were fired during the daily "humanitarian pause" declared by the IDF.

The army announced that it will hold the pause between 12 to 3 pm. During that time, the IDF opened the Kerem Shalom Crossing in order to allow dozens of trucks carrying food, medical supplies, and fuel into Gaza.
