Olmert: Hamas has no part in negotiations

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert explained Saturday that a cabinet decision to end the IDF's operation in Gaza was not a ceasefire agreement with Hamas, but rather an Israeli decision pursuant to negotiations and dialogues with the international community.

"This is not a ceasefire with Hamas. These are understanding with sources in the international community which Hamas, as an illegitimate entity, has no place to be involved in," he said.
