Sudan seeks dialogue with Obama

An adviser to the Sudanese president says his government is ready to explain its positions to the new US administration and has appealed to President Barack Obama to listen.
Mustafa Osman Ismail says Sudan has been "burned" by the previous US administration. Ismail's remarks were carried Thursday by the official SUNA news agency. (AP)
