Palestinians: Man killed in Qabatiya not Jihad operative
Palestinian sources in the West Bank city of Jenin told Ynet that contrary to reports, the head of Islamic Jihad's branch in Qabatiya, Ala Abu Rub, was not killed by IDF forces.
The man killed, they said, had the same name, but it is unclear at this time whether he was on Israel's wanted list. Islamic Jihad maintains that Abu Rub is – and has been – held by the Palestinian intelligence service for several week. (Ali Waked)
