Al-Qaeda suspect arrested in Germany

Federal prosecutors say a suspected al-Qaida member has been arrested in Germany. The prosecutors said Saturday that the 30-year-old German citizen, identified only as Sermet I., was arrested at Stuttgart airport as he entered the country. The arrest was made Friday.
Prosecutors allege that he supplied range finders, night-vision equipment and cash to Aleem N., a German of Pakistani origin who was arrested in February 2008. (AP)
