Settlers: Removal of West Bank checkpoints lawless act
The Samaria and Binyamin Settlers' Committee stated in response to a decision to remove checkpoints from the West Bank that "Ehud Barak is gambling with the lives of Jewish settlers".
"The removal of the checkpoints during these days, marked by a rise in Arab terrorism on the roads of Judea and Samaria, is a lawless act," the statement said. The committee called on IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi to act against the decision. (Efrat Weiss)
