Habayit Hayehudi to support Netanyahu
Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu was expected to meet Friday morning with representatives of the Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home) party, which gained three Knesset seats in Tuesday's elections.
Party sources told Ynet that they would tell Netanyahu they plan to ask President Shimon Peres to task him with forming the new government. "This is what we promised our voters, and we won’t deviate from this promise," they said. (Amnon Meranda and Kobi Nahshoni)
