IDF: General's outburst on Turkey doesn't represent army's position
The IDF responded to GOC Ground Forces Command Maj.-Gen. Avi Mizrahi's comments on Turkey and stated that "this is not the army's position".
Mizrahi had responded to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's condemnation of Israel's offensive in Gaza and called on him to look into his country's history regarding the Armenians and the Kurdish people before criticizing Israel. (Ynet)
