Israel's El Al Airlines was rated one of the top five safest airlines in the world by the German bureau of aircraft accidents investigation.
German aircraft magazine Aero International published the results of the bureau's study last week, and according to the data, the world's largest aircraft companies, and airlines that offer cheaper flights, continue to become safer.
El Al came in fourth in the list of the world's top five safest airlines.
The rating examined the safety levels of 60 of the world's largest airlines.
The companies that made it into the top five all have been flying for over three decades without any passenger aircraft accidents.
The other airlines in the Aero International's top five in terms of safety are Australia's Qantas, Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific, Japanese All Nippon Airways, and Finland's Finnair.
