Mexico police buy Israeli air surveillance systems

None

Israeli firm Aeronautics Defense Systems Ltd. Said on Monday it had won $22 million in contracts to supply Mexico's federal police with airborne surveillance systems.

Products sold include the Skystar 300, a blimp with onboard cameras offering 24-hour monitoring of surroundings, and the Orbiter, a miniature unmanned spy plane, Aeronautics said in a statement. Israel uses blimps and drones over the neighboring, Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip. (Reuters)
