Hamas: We wrote to Obama 'no peace without us'

Ahmed Yousef, the Hamas deputy foreign minister who drafted the letter addressed to US President Barack Obama, was quoted by the New York Times as saying that the two-page document urged the new administration to make a change from the Bush administration.

“There can be no peace without Hamas,” Yousef said he had written. “We congratulated Mr. Obama on his presidency and reminded him that he should live up to his promise to bring real change to the region." (Ynet)
