Gulf Arabs urge Iran to condemn remarks on Bahrain

Gulf Arab states called on regional power Iran on Sunday to condemn remarks by an Iranian official questioning the sovereignty of the kingdom of Bahrain.

According to media reports, Ali Akbar Nateq-Nouri, an adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said earlier this month that Iran had sovereignty over Bahrain. (Reuters)
