Amos Gilad apologizes to Olmert

Head of the Diplomatic-Security Bureau at the Defense Ministry Amos Gilad apologized to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert for comments he made against him and the government in the media that led to Gilad's suspension.
Following the apology, the prime minister sent a written response to Gilad, saying, "After our meeting where you expressed your apology to me for the unwarranted things you said against me and the Israeli government, and in light of my esteem for you and my familiarity with your work for the State of Israel and its security over the years, I plan to act towards ending the affair immediately."
