Netanyahu associates: US not pushing

The US is aware of "the difficulty in creating a government," associates of Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday, after the Likud chairman met with US envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell.
"At this point they are not demanding anything, but merely listening to Israel's stance. The issues include Iran, which is a problem for us and the United States, and prioritizing the problem of extremists," said the associates, who had attended part of the meeting. (Roni Sofer)
