Netanyahu updates Peres on deal with Labor

Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu called President Shimon Peres and briefed him on the agreement signed with the Labor party, in which a number of understandings on political and economic issues were reached.
Peres responded by saying that in light of the current political, security and economic challenges facing the State of Israel, it is vital that a national unity government is formed as soon as possible. (Attila Somfalvi)
