The bold and the beautiful: Four Israeli politicians placed among the 54 most beautiful women in public office in the world in an online reader poll taken by Spanish newspaper, 20 Minutos.

Newly elected Member of Knesset Orli Levy (Yisrael Beiteinu) was ranked in 14th place. Four slots after her comes former Knesset member and business woman Pnina Rosenblum. In 23rd place is Tourism Minister Ruhama Avraham Balila. Yisrael Beiteinu is represented again on the list of the most beautiful in 32nd place with MK Anastassia Michaeli.

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik did not make the list.

The list, voted on by tens of thousands of online readers, was topped by 30-year-old Peruvian Member of Parliament Luciana Leon. Immediately following in second place is Mercedes Araoz, also from Peru.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko received 8th place in the poll. In 24th place, one slot after MK Ruhama Avraham, is Alaskan governor and former Republican vice president candidate Sarah Palin. Also representing the United States, Hillary Clinton was ranked in 34th place. At 61, she is the oldest woman on the list.

Just two slots after Clinton is Segolene Royal, who ran less than two years ago against Nicolas Sarkozy for the French presidency. The youngest woman on the list is Julia Bonk, 23, who was elected to Saxony's state parliament in east Germany for the first time at the age of 18. She is ranked in 22nd place in the poll.

Sealing off the list in 54th place is Afghani Malalai Joya, 30.

Absent from the list are German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Finnish President Tarja Halonen and former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
