Paris deputy mayor calls for Shalit's release

Paris' deputy mayor, Anne Hidalgo, called on Hamas to release kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit during a press conference in Tel Aviv.
"Gilad Shalit is an Israeli-French youth and an honorary citizen of the city of Paris," she said. "He is being imprisoned and held without the minimal humane conditions. We know it is a delicate situation, but would like to stress once again our support for his family and the call to release him." (Dana Zimmerman)
