Yad Vashem in Arabic
Yad Vashem's Arabic website includes academic articles translated into Arabic, testimonies of Holocaust survivors, maps, archived documents, multi-media slideshow of images from the Auschwitz concentration camp, and the stories of Righteous Gentiles, including Muslims from Turkey and Albania.
It also features the documentary film "We Were There" that follows the joint visit of Arabs and Jews to Auschwitz, and Yad Vashem exhibits such as the exhibit: BESA: A Code of Honor - Muslim Albanians Who Rescued Jews During the Holocaust.
Yad Vashem in Farsi
Perhaps in response to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's continuous "PR" attempts against the State of Israel, the Yad Vashem Authority has launched a version of its website in the Farsi language, in order to educate Iran's citizens on the extermination of Europe's Jews by the Nazis.
The Farsi-language website includes 20 historical chapters, with dozens of photographs arranged in chronological order starting from the rise of Nazism to the Nuremberg Trials. The site also features the poems of Abramek Koplowicz, a Jewish boy who perished in Auschwitz when he was just 14-years-old.
Yad Vashem's YouTube Channel
Yad Vashem has begun posting films on the video sharing website YouTube, in English and Arabic on special channels. The video channels show short films, between two and 10 minutes long, that include testimonies, personal stories, lectures on the Holocaust, and footage of world leaders' visits to the Yad Vashem Museum in Jerusalem.
