12 Tones barbershop choir in concert

A concert with heaps of entertainment for the entire family will be given on May 9, 2009 by Alex Eshed's much-admired and popular unaccompanied choir, 12 Tones

Twelve Tones was founded by Alex Eshed in 1995 as a barbershop quartet with a first and second tenor plus a first and second baritone. Within a year or two it quickly grew into an all-male choir, one of the finest in the country.

The choir performs regularly throughout Israel and has also toured internationally with a great deal of acclamation at festivals and competitions. Management of the choir places a high priority on selecting suitable venues and maintaining a comprehensive and varied repertoire. Of particular interest is the care and attention offered to members of the choir on a personal level. They are always recruiting new members.

For the concert on May 9, the choir will perform a variety of works including barbershop, ballads, gospel, Hebrew and more. It promises to be an evening of delightful entertainment.
