IDF shoots, wounds Palestinian near border fence

The IDF said its forces identified a Palestinian near the border fence in northern Gaza. Soldiers fired warning shots into the air, but when the Palestinian did not respond they shot at the Palestinian's person, wounding him lightly to moderately.
The soldiers crossed the fence and evacuated the Palestinian to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, from where he is to be taken in for questioning. (Hanan Greenberg)
