Several leading Israeli artists will take part in a charity concert for AKIM Israel – the National Association for the Habilitation of the Mentally Handicapped in Israel. The association will hold its annual concert on May 13 at the Wohl Amphitheater in Tel Aviv's Park Hayarkon.
This year, for the first time in the event's four-year history, the concert will feature duets between AKIM children and prominent singers such as Keren Peles, David Broza, Harel Skaat, Pablo Rosenberg, Boaz Mauda, Ruti Navon and kids' star Yuval Hamevulbal.
The evening will be hosted by the three members of the "Ma Kashur" stand-up comedy ensemble Zion Baruch, Assi Yisraelof and Shalom Michaelshvili. The three have been active volunteers in AKIM in the last year and have been leading the association's fundraising efforts.
All proceeds from the event will go towards incorporating special-needs people in the job market. The ticket price is NIS 300.
