Peres meets UN's Ban in New York
President Shimon Peres met with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Wednesday in New York.
Peres told Ban that Israel did not accept the findings noted in the UN report on Operation Cast Lead, saying that while Israel recognized that some operational mistakes had been made, the report was "unfair." (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
