Peres: Israel ready to renew negotiations immediately
Israel is ready to continue negotiations with the Palestinians immediately, President Shimon Peres said in Jordan on Sunday, prior to a meeting with the country's King Abdullah.
"The prime minister said he would implement the commitments of previous governments. The government has accepted the Road Map," he said of the two state solution. (Roee Nahmias, Jordan)
