A talking points memo handed out to Kadima Party members Wednesday was rife with criticism of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the US.
One of the points on the memo obtained by Ynet says, "Netanyahu's visit to Washington missed a historical opportunity. This was the first time an Israeli prime minister visited the US president with the only interest in mind being to return peacefully and without public humiliation."

Netanyahu, Obama leave White House meeting with significant gaps on issue of two-state solution. US president informs prime minister he intends to present a new regional peace initiative, probably during his trip to Cairo next month
A large portion of the 4-page memo contends that "Israel after the meeting is in a worse place internationally than before the meeting".
It adds, "Bibi had a chance to procure support from the leader of the free world on issues important to Israel, and instead he wasted the little credit he had in order to refrain from angering political officials here in Israel."
The memo also accuses Netanyahu of "thinking only of himself and his survival instead of promoting what is good for Israel", as well as "hesitating and evading, and thus doing real damage to Israel".
Regarding the Iranian threat Kadima members are instructed by the memo that "the perception of Israel as a dissenter may harm the international coalition against Iran".
The memo also says that Israel's position in a peace plan constructed by US President Barack Obama is "worrying", as "for the first time there is an American plan that was not coordinated with Israel".
It concludes, "An American president is arriving in the Middle East in two weeks and consciously choosing to skip Israel. This doesn't only sound bad, it is bad… A month and a half has gone by since the establishment of the government and Israel's political position is at an all-time low."
