Clinton says formation of Palestinian state is in Israel's best interest
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stressed that the formation of a Palestinian state was in the best interest of Israel. She spoke in Washington just a few hours before President Barack Obama was scheduled to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
"We believe that efforts to achieve a two-state solution are the best way for Israel to achieve the peace and security it deserves," said Clinton.
