Ethics Committee: MK Zahalka's participation in anti-Israel rally legitimate

The Knesset's Ethics Committee has decided to reject complaints filed against Knesset Member Jamal Zahalka (United Arab List-Ta'al) over his participation in an anti-Israel demonstration during the UN racism conference in Geneva.
The committee members clarified that "Knesset members' participation in demonstrations is included in the freedom of expression and is one of their basic rights, as any other citizen, as long as no offense has been committed during the demonstration." (Amnon Meranda)
