EU's Solana to Israel freeze settlement construction

EU Foreign Policy chief Javier Solana is due to arrive in Israel on Wednesday for a series of meetings with top Israeli officials.
During his scheduled meeting with Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Solana is expected to demand that Israel begin implementing the "two-states for two peoples" initiative, including freezing all settlement construction and resuming negotiations with the Palestinian Authority. (Roni Sofer)
