UN experts demand fair trial for Aung San Suu Kyi
Five UN human rights experts have called on Myanmar to guarantee a fair trial for imprisoned Nobel Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi and her two aides.
Leandro Despouy, a UN expert on the independence of judges and lawyers, says the trial so far "has been marred by flagrant violations of substantive and procedural rights." (AP)
