Interior Minister Eli Yishai said during the cabinet meeting that "we must find out where the Palestinians are headed – to reconciliation and peace or to continued incitement and terror".
Yishai added, "We must know whether they are seeking two states in order to establish one Palestinian state and another one for Hamas, or whether they are willing to have a Jewish state alongside their own." (Roni Sofer)
