A website operated by the Islamic Jihad is reporting that a delegation of Egyptian security officials led by General Mahmoud Ibrahim is currently in Israel to discuss efforts to broker an agreement on the exchange of Palestinian prisoners for captive Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
The Egyptian embassy in Israel has refused to confirm or deny the report. (Ali Waked)
