Palestinian official: Progress on Shalit talks, but his release not imminent
A senior official in one of the Palestinian organizations holding kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit told Ynet that there has been marked progress between Israeli-Palestinian talks on releasing the captured soldier, but said that a release date is not imminent.
According to the official, the positions of the two sides seem closer than they were in the last days of Olmert's administration. (Ali Waked)
