Court rejects Poker Association's petition to hold tournament in Eilat
The Supreme Court rejected the Israel Poker Association's petition to hold an annual Texas Hold'em Poker tournament in Eilat.
The ruling said it was not in the court's jurisdiction to determine whether the game is legal or not and that this was a matter for the legislative authority. (Aviad Glickman)
