Palestinian minister: Decision to build in Adam settlement ruins peace process

The Palestinian Authority Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Khatem Abdel Qadir said Monday that the Defense Ministry's decision to build 50 housing units in the West Bank settlement of Adam was "throwing a spanner in the wheels of the peace process."
"This policy," he added, "means that there is no chance for (Palestinian President Mahmoud) Abbas and (Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu) to sit together at the negotiating table." (Ali Waked)
