MK Afu Aghbaria (Hadash) called on world leaders to join in French President Nicolas Sarkozy's demand to "get rid of" Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and to declare him a persona-non-grata, as was done with extreme rightist Jean-Marie Le Pen.
"If Netanyahu does not succumb to our demand, an international embargo must be placed on Israel and it should be isolated," he said. "The dismissal of Lieberman from office is like chemotherapy that may cure Israeli society from the racist cancer spread by the Yisrael Beiteinu chairman and hi ilk." (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
