Kazakhstan to invest millions in Israeli agriculture research center
President Shimon Peres and Minister of Industry, Trade, and Labor Binjamin Ben-Eliezer agreed with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev that Kazakhstan will make a yearly investment of $10 million in Israel's Volcani Center for Agricultural Research.
The Agricultural Minister's office received an update on the agreement and reported that significant efforts have been made for the past three years to find investors for the project. (Roni Sofer)
