A taste of some of the main musical events taking place across Israel this week, July 5-11
Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra
In cooperation with the Israeli Opera Tel-Aviv-Yafo the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra presents a program of light classical music titled "Flute Magic".
The orchestra is conducted by Doron Salomon with soloist the highly-acclaimed principal flautist of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Noam Buchman.
Mr. Buchman is an international artist who has appeared in many countries throughout the world as a soloist under the direction of world-famous conductors.
"Flute Magic" is a program of popular and beloved Israeli songs especially arranged for flute and orchestra.

Israel Chamber Orchestra

Next Year: Nurit Hirsch sings Ehud Manor
Nurit Hirsch and Ehud Manor collaborated for many years, together creating about 120 songs, including some of the most beautiful Israeli songs ever.
In this moving program, Nurit Hirsch presents the songs, stories, and personal touches of Ehud Manor, one of the greatest and most original artists to shape Israeli culture.
Special guest: Ofra Fuchs Manor.
