Convicted Lebanese murderer Samir Kuntar believes the Hezbollah organization will intervene in order to prevent a possible Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.
In an interview with al-Jazeera television aired Saturday, Kuntar said that "we will not leave Iran, one of the pillars of Islam, alone without intervening."
Kuntar, who was released by Israel in return for the bodies of kidnapped IDF soldiers Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser ,added that Hezbollah's response to the 2008 assassination of the group's operations officer, Imad Mugniyah was still pending.
"The Islamic resistance's response for the assassination of the shahid Imad Mugniyah is still pending and it's time will come." Asked if the response would not destabilize the political situation in Lebanon ,Kuntar said no one could prevent Hezbollah from responding.
