Arab councils strike, their mayors protest in front of Knesset
Mayors of the Arab municipal councils along with Arab members of Knesset are currently demonstrating in front of the Knesset in protest against the economic straits faced by the councils.
In addition, a general strike is being held in the Arab municipal councils. "We demand a root canal before the rest of the municipalities are part of the crisis," said Arab Councils Committee Chairman Ramez Jeraisi. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
