The recent wave of arrests in Lebanon during which a terror cell made up of ten people suspected of membership in radical terrorist groups led Lebanese intelligence officials to believe that there is a "division of labor" between various radical organizations operating in Lebanon. This was reported in Lebanese newspaper al-Akhbar.
According to the report, the division of labor is among organizations associated with al-Qaeda and Fatah al-Islam. While the former strives to strike at UNIFIL forces stationed in the south, Fatah al-Islam members seek first to attack the Lebanese army. (Roee Nahmias)
