Hamas sponsors mass wedding in Syria
The militant Palestinian group Hamas sponsored a mass wedding of 382 Palestinian couples in a refugee camp in the Syrian capital of Damascus.
Hamas has held such weddings in the past in Syria, where the group's exiled leadership is based, but Friday's ceremony at the Yarmouk refugee camp was by far the largest. The mass weddings aim to help young people who often put off marriage because they can't afford the costs. (AP)
