Arab MKs to US: Stop Israel from building nuclear plant in Negev

MKs Talab El-Sana (United Arab List – Ta'al) and Afu Aghbaria (Hadash) sent a letter to the US ambassador to Israel asking he inform Washington of their request for intervention in stopping Israel from building a nuclear power plant in the Negev.
The letter said that the approval of such a plan would be supporting Israel while it refuses to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty. The letter also said that residents of the Negev would suffer directly as a result of the construction of such a plant. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
