Israel: Hamas preventing Palestinian patients from leaving Gaza
Defense establishment official say that as part of Hamas' attempts to prevent Gaza residents from traveling to the Fatah convention in Bethlehem, organization members are preventing Palestinian patients from leaving for Israel for medical treatment.
Hamas declared recently that it would not allow Fatah members to leave for the Bethlehem congress, which is scheduled to begin Tuesday, until the Palestinian Authority released its men from West Bank prisons. (Hanan Greenberg)
