Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman visited the divided Ghajar village on the northern border and told residents, "There will be no accord with Lebanon and Syria, Ghajar is entirely under Israeli sovereignty."
Lieberman visited the area with his deputy, Daniel Ayalon, and Northern Command Chief Major-General Gadi Eisenkot. "Our decision regarding Ghajar will be based on defense and humanitarian considerations. We are sharing our deliberations with the US and the UN, but not with the Syrians and Lebanese," the foreign minister stressed. (Roni Sofer)
