Report: Iranian police disperse defendants' relatives

None

Iranian riot police dispersed on Saturday relatives of moderate defendants on trial for being involved in unrest that erupted after the country's June disputed presidential vote, the Mosharekat website said.

"Relatives of the defendants and a large group of people gathered in front of the court building on Saturday. When they chanted 'Allahu Akbar' (God is greatest), the riot police attacked them to disperse the crowd," the website said. (Reuters)
