Red Sea Jazz Festival opens soon
Each night, from 7 pm till dawn listen to the very best of jazz music at the Port of Eilat. What could be a more exciting and stimulating way to enjoy the month of August?
Commencing August 23 through August 26, the Red Sea Jazz Festival brings four heart-stopping days of live jazz music, featuring both Israeli and international artists. Every evening at 7 pm an open concert will be held promoting the very best of young Israeli jazz talent.
During the four days of the Festival three different concerts will be held in three different halls. A total of 22 groups will be performing, eleven from Israel and eleven international bands.
The venues vary in size. A new jazz club has 1,000 seats, the Big Hall 2,000 seats and the Arena 4,000 seats. Get your tickets from Castel and make sure of your accommodation in Eilat.
The Red Sea Jazz Festival is now in its 23rd year. Founded in 1987 by Avishai Cohen, it has blossomed over the years from nine concerts in 1987 to 22 in 2009.
In addition to the concerts, Jazz Master Classes will be held in English at the Isrotel Agamim Hotel in Eilat during the afternoon on Monday August 24, Tuesday August 25 and Wednesday August 26.
