Navy fires at Palestinian fishing boast exceeding Gaza sail zone
The Israel Navy fired warning shots at several Palestinian fishing boats which ventured out of the Gaza sailing zone. One of the boats ignored the navy's warning, prompting it to fire a second round.
The boat caught fire, which was extinguished by the soldiers. No injuries were reported. Military sources said that "any vessel sailing outside the designated zone in the Strip will be met with a harsh response in order to thwart any terror activity." (Hanan Greenberg)
